Tripping - Standards
This document details the minimum requirements for conducting tripping operations on COMPANY locations.
A BEFORE TRIPPING
1. Tripping shall only commence with the approval of the on-site COMPANY Well OperationsSupervisor and the Contractor’s Toolpusher.2. The COMPANY Well Operations Supervisor shall establish that the well is stable prior tocommencing a trip – (flow check, etc)3. The COMPANY Well Operations Supervisor shall ensure that the minimum overpressure of200psi is applied on the formation by the drilling/completion fluid prior to the start of tripping.
